Educational Philosophy

In response to the evolving trends of the health industry, our program is dedicated to cultivating interdisciplinary professionals in health management. Emphasizing diverse learning and cross-disciplinary collaboration, we aim to meet the continuing education needs of industry practitioners, enhance their knowledge and skills, and ultimately contribute to the sustainable development of the health sector.

 

Mission and Educational Objectives

To cultivate mid- to senior-level professionals in health industry management who possess both a global perspective and a balance of academic theory and practical skills, this program offers a diverse curriculum tailored for professionals from various sectors—including nutrition and wellness, hospitality management, occupational safety and health, health informatics and medical administration, public health, medical foreign languages, and long-term care.

Through interdisciplinary learning in the health industry and a teaching approach that integrates management theory with practical application, the program aims to enhance students’ competitiveness and mobility in the job market.

These efforts are designed to fulfill the educational objectives established by the program:

1. Cultivate professionals with specialized knowledge and practical skills in health industry management.

2. Develop practitioners with capabilities in system integration, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.

3. Foster individuals with a strong sense of social responsibility, a vision for sustainable development, and a global perspective.

4. Nurture top-tier leaders in the management and operation of the health industry.

 

Postioning 

The program is committed to advancing interdisciplinary professional education in health management. Through sustainable learning and innovative teaching, we integrate medical humanities with a strong sense of social responsibility. Our goal is to cultivate high-quality professionals in health industry management who are responsive to societal change and equipped with a forward-looking vision for sustainable development.

 

Program Features

This in-service master’s program is designed to cultivate top-tier leaders in health industry management. It adopts Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration through Interprofessional Education (IPE). In addition, industry experts are invited to host forums on current trends, providing students with valuable real-world insights and international perspectives.

The program is structured into three research tracks:

  • Group A: Medical and Health Management

  • Group B: Nature of Occupational Safety and Health

  • Group C: Health Industry and Applied Foreign Languages
